El Simposio OMI/INTERPORTPOLICE "Cómo hacer frente a los retos que
plantea la ejecución de la ley en la cadena de suministro marítimo para
mejorar la facilitación del tráfico marítimo internacional" tenía como objetivo proporcionar información de fondo sobre una serie de actividades
delictivas relacionadas con los puertos y el transporte marítimo, entre las que cabe citar la
corrupción, la documentación fraudulenta y el comercio ilícito de fauna y flora silvestres; y examinará, a través de debates interactivos, formas de abordar mejor los retos que plantea la
ejecución de la ley en la cadena de suministro marítimo, con el fin de mejorar la facilitación
del tráfico marítimo internacional. El evento tuvo lugar el 16 de marzo
de 2023 en la sede de
la OMI y a distancia.
