The International Maritime Organization is currently not accepting any new tour bookings due to the fluid situation surrounding COVID-19 and the restrictions in place on external visitors to IMO. Should you wish to register your interest for a future tour please send an e-mail to email@example.com and the External Relations Office will be in contact once the current restrictions have been lifted (19 March 2020).
IMO hosts tours of the building throughout the year for which there is no charge to the public. Groups must be a minimum of ten persons and a maximum of thirty. We suggest allowing 1 ½ to 2 hours for a full visit, which includes a tour of the highlights of the building and its artefacts, the showing of a film about the work of the Organization followed by a more in-depth presentation by an officer pertinent to the visitors' speciality.
Tours are held Monday to Friday and usually start at either 10.30 a.m. or 2.30 p.m. (but this is flexible). If you visit in the morning, there would the opportunity to stay for lunch in our restaurant (at your own expense).
We are unable to host full visits during weeks when Committee meetings are taking place. A Programme of Meetings for 2020/2021 can be accessed via the link below for the purpose of planning your visit date.
