South Africa and Costa Rica tackle ship noise and ocean pollution
South Africa and Costa Rica are taking practical steps to reduce the environmental impact of shipping on marine ecosystems, with support from the IMO. During a joint side event at the UN Ocean Conference in Nice (9-13 June), country officials presented their experiences in tackling ship noise and marine plastic pollution.
