The Country Maritime Profile (CMP) enables IMO to target technical assistance needs and resources, and was created in 2012 as a result of the Secretary-General's initiative on the review and reform of technical cooperation. Data collected is used to identify the real technical cooperation needs of IMO Members.
All Member States are invited to complete either the GISIS CMP module (where authorized users can input their Country Maritime Profile data directly) or, alternatively, the Country Maritime Profile template in Microsoft Word format (amended in accordance with decisions taken at the 63rd session of the Technical Cooperation Committee (TC 63) here on the website, returning it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For guidance on how to complete the CMP using the GISIS CMP module, please refer to Circular Letter (CL) No. 3407.
To enable IMO to consider your country's technical assistance needs, and mobilize essential resources, it is important that your country's country maritime profile data is updated regularly.
Please ensure you have reviewed and updated your data during the last 12 months.
